Improver's crochet: Corner to Corner Scarf/Cowl

This class is perfect for anyone who has recently learned to crochet. Boost your skills and learn how to work with beautiful colour changing chunky yarn.

Choose whether to make a traditional scarf or a cowl and watch your project grow quickly in this fun diagonal technique!

Corner to corner crochet is worked up diagonally in square 'pixels', making it the perfect way to great stylish motifs with just the UK Treble crochet and chain stitches. You can use the technique to crochet images on cushions or blankets known as graphghans, or make modern scarves and accessories.

• This class is suitable for anyone who can confidently crochet UK treble crochets (US double crochet) and who can manage their tension.

• You need to bring a 7mm crochet hook.

You will receive full notes and instructions. 2 balls of yarn and refreshments are also included.

This class is supported by a closed Facebook group, which offers online after-class support, where you can post your progress or seek advice as your project continues.

Terms and Conditions

• All attendees must be 12 years old or over.
• All under 16s must be accompanied by a participating (ticket-holding) adult.

If the buyer needs to cancel:

• You can cancel via Eventbrite up to 30 days before the event with no penalty.

• Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is cancelled.

• If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as you can so I can offer your ticket to somebody on the waiting list. All efforts will be made to re-sell your ticket, allowing you a full refund.

• Closer to the event there is a sliding refund scale, depending on the proximity to the event. If a replacement buyer cannot be found, the refund is 50% between 30 & 14 days before the event with no refund within 14 days of the event.

If Fiona needs to cancel:

• If the class is cancelled you will get a full ticket refund, including booking fee, or the option to transfer onto a later class.

• Travel/accommodation expenses will not be refunded.
