Join us for an evening class of improvisation led by Dave Bourn.
This will be a fun packed session. We'll start with some warm-ups, followed by a focus on scene work and end with an option to perform in front of the group (if you want to). The atmosphere will be very friendly and supportive.
Many people think of improv as something "scary" that only actors or comedians can do. These sessions aims to turn the fear into fun with a selection of games and exercises in pairs and small groups. Come along to explore your creativity and spontaneity, stretch your communication skills and boost your confidence.
Dave is currently the resident improvisation teacher at University of West London and the Court Theatre Drama School. He started improvising to help reduce his anxiety, and began performing with London Theatresports and Sacred Scriptless in the 90s. He has directed shows by Stephen K Amos, Chris McCausland, Felix Dexter and Phil Nichol. The last of which was also nominated for the Perrier award.
