HSS Portrait Photography at Aberglasney Gardens - w/ Krish Photo/Video

Join Carmarthen Camera Centre Ltd on Saturday, 18 April 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the stunning Aberglasney Gardens for an immersive, hands-on workshop exploring High Speed Sync (HSS) photography. Led by internationally published portrait powerhouse Krish Nagar, this in-depth experience will elevate your understanding of creative lighting and empower you to produce striking, professional-quality portraits in challenging light.

The day will be structured around concise lighting demonstrations led by Krish, followed by ample hands-on shooting time for you to put the techniques into practice.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cameras, lenses, SD cards, and fully charged batteries. Carmarthen Camera Centre will provide flash units, triggers, and a selection of modifiers for you to use throughout the workshop, ensuring you have everything needed to experiment confidently with High Speed Sync lighting.

Two professional models will be available to photograph during the workshop. Model details will be confirmed closer to the event.

Refreshments of Water, Teas and coffees will be supplied by Carmarthen Cameras and the Gardens on arrival as well as after lunch.

There is a cafe at the gardens that we encourage all attendees to use, how ever you are free to bring your own packed lunches.
