Join author-illustrator Bia Melo for an interactive storytime craft event!

Bia will read from her new book Little Snail Goes House Hunting before getting kids to design and decorate postcards using stamps, pressed flowers, and all sorts of colourful art supplies. Kids can write a short message on the back, making a nice keepsake or gift to mail to a friend.

Book blurb: Little Snail loves her big snail family, but sometimes she feels so different to them. She craves something more exciting... a new house. A house that’s interesting, fun and unusual – just like her.

Follow a little snail on her thoughtful and amusing quest to find a new house. Little Snail tries out a hilarious array of unexpected homes, completely unlike a snail shell! She tries hanging upside down with bats – a little uncomfortable – and a busy burrow packed with many, many rabbit roommates!

Children will love Bia Melo’s beautiful, vibrant illustrations just as much as Little Snail’s quirky, bright personality.

Will Little Snail find her perfect home? Perhaps it’s closer than she thinks...

Author bio:
