Honoring Family Funds of Knowledge

Learning Objectives – Participants will: 

• Explore the concept of family funds of knowledge and its importance in fostering meaningful family-school partnerships. 
• Learn how to identify and value the cultural, linguistic, and experiential assets families bring to the school community. 
• Practice culturally responsive strategies to enhance family engagement and communication. 
• Develop approaches to integrate family knowledge and experiences into school and program activities. 
• Strengthen collaboration with families to promote student belonging, success, and equity.
