Holiday workshops: Code Breakers (ages 12 - 14)

Code Breakers: Cracking the Secrets of Computers is an immersive, all-day workshop that takes participants on a journey inside the hidden workings of computers — no screens required.

Through magic, games, dominos, cards, and real electronic components, participants uncover how simple ideas like binary, logic, and circuits combine to power modern technology.

From mind-reading birthday tricks to falling dominos that “think”, participants explore how computers store information, make decisions, and solve problems. Each section builds on the last, transforming abstract concepts into memorable, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and confidence.

By the end of the day, participants won’t just have seen how computers work, they’ll have built the ideas themselves.

This workshop is strictly for 12 - 14 year-olds.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
