What makes Woodberry Wetlands so special? What wildlife can be found around the reserve? What is the history of Woodberry Wetlands?

Find the answers to these questions and many more on a guided winter walk around Woodberry Wetlands, led by our experienced, friendly guides. This season is a great time to see a variety of waterfowl as many birds migrate to the UK for the winter. Look out for tufted ducks, shovelers, pochards, great crested grebes, and mute swans, as well as many other species.

This is a gentle walk around the reserve on paths and there may be some gentle inclines. Strong stout footwear is recommended. The walk will last approximately 1 hour and will be fully outdoors, so dress for the weather! Please bring some water and if you have binoculars do bring them, but it’s not essential.

Meeting point: The Coal House Cafe (under the marquee).
