Join the Heriot-Watt Programming Competition, organised by the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, and put your coding and problem-solving skills to the test in a timed challenge.

What to Expect

You will solve a series of programming problems that assess:

• Your competency in your chosen language: C, C++, C#, Python, or Java
• Your algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills

Eligibility

• School students in the final two years of their studies.
• Group participation is allowed for up to three members. If a group wins, the prize will be divided equally among all members.

Prizes & Scholarships

Top performers will win scholarships* for study at Heriot-Watt University Dubai:

• 1st place: 50% scholarship
• 2nd place: 40% scholarship
• 3rd place: 30% scholarship
• 4th place: AED 500, supported by BCS**

*The scholarship offered will be calculated on the net tuition fee of the first year after deducting any other scholarships or discounts that the student may have received and will be distributed equally over the years of study.
