
The 2026 Community Wellness Series, hosted by Northeastern’s Office of City and Community Engagement, brings people together to focus on their health and wellness through resource sharing and educational workshops. Boston residents, other neighbors, community leaders, and the NU network are invited to this sponsored event series hosted at Northeastern Crossing between February-March 2026.
In partnership with Heart of a Giant Foundation, Health of the Community, is an interactive discussion exploring how everyday choices shape personal and community health. Not just doctor visits, but neighbors checking in, community health workers who understand your life, and healthcare systems that listen. True heart health happens when personal care and community care work together. Whether you’re managing heart disease, supporting a loved one, or passionate about health equity, this event offers practical insight and meaningful connection.

Join us on Saturday, February 28th from 11:30-2:00pm for a community discussion, free blood pressure screenings, resources from community organizations, and light refreshments will be provided, registration is requested but not required
This event will connect neighbors, organizations, and partners with valuable tools and information. Come explore local programs, discover wellness and support services, and learn how we can work together to strengthen our community. Whether you’re looking for educational resources, health and wellness opportunities, or ways to get involved, this open house is your chance to network, share ideas, and take home helpful materials. Light refreshments will be provided, RSVP requested but not required.
