HBCU Pamoja Jol Festival: “Party Together in Unity"
The HBCU Pamoja Jol Festival is a dynamic celebration of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, rooted in the spirit of unity, joy, and cultural pride. Inspired by the Swahili word "Pamoja" (together) and the South African slang "Jol" (party), this festival brings together students, alumni, families, and communities for an unforgettable experience.
Held deep in the heart of Texas, the event features:
-The Largest Texas-Sized Greek Stroll – showcasing the legacy and rhythm of Black Greek-letter organizations
-HBCU Cook-Out & Carnival – a fusion of soul food, games, and music that honors HBCU traditions
-HBCU Power Summit College & Career Fair – empowering future leaders with opportunities and resources
- Vendor Village – open to Authors, local businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs looking to connect with the HBCU community
The Pamoja Jol Festival is more than an event—it’s a movement of celebration, education, and empowerment.
