HATCH Food is Everyone's Business

Food is Everyone’s Business has been developed by HATCH LCP based on your feedback about health eating messages. The workshop aims to help you:

• Understand the importance of food and healthier eating and the drivers that influence food options
• Learn basic skills that will support the delivery of better conversations “identifying open doors”
• Identify key healthy eating messages taken from the Eatwell Guide and how to use the guide in practice considering cultural food needs and barriers to healthy eating
• Outline ways in which the messages from the training can be used in your role and workplace and support appropriate signposting

We’re really excited about Food is Everyone’s Business and want as many people from HATCH LCP to be ambassadors of a person-centred approach to healthy eating messaging in Leeds.

About the venue: We are committed to ensuring our LCP meetings are inclusive and accessible to everyone. We have booked a ground floor room which is accessible for wheelchairs. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, including alternative materials please make the team aware so we can support and/or make the appropriate adjustments.

There is limited on-site parking with street parking near the venue. There are many bus routes within walking distance of the venue: the 91 is a 4 minute walk; the 49, 50, 50a stop a 6 minute walk; the 12, 13, 13a a 7 minute walk.
