Hanningfield Talk: Rewilding in the UK

Hanningfield is hosting a talk on the enthralling topic of rewilding- a conservation strategy that encompasses debate, unique methods, and sparks questions on how humans define a wild space. 

Expand or begin your natural knowledge with our education officer at Hanningfield, with hot drinks included in your ticket. This talk is suitable for all levels of experience and expertise. 

This session is for any level of knowledge and is suitable for those aged 16 and over. Any under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

🌳Does the event take place outside?

The majority of the session will take place indoors, but we may take a wander outside, so please ensure you have clothing appropriate for the weather. 

🌍Where are you based? 

We are located in Mid-Essex, local to Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Billericay, Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers, and Basildon.

🚗Is there parking? 

Yes. We have a large free car park.

🚇Can we get to you on public transport? 

We are accessible by bus, with bus stops outside the centre and 10 minutes away. We are not accessible by train.

🚻Are there toilets? 

Toilets are located inside the visitor centre. 

☕Is there a Cafe or shop? 

The visitor centre has a shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches. 

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events. 

♿Is it wheelchair accessible? 

Our reserve pathways are flat and easy to push wheelchairs, but our activities mound can be slippery, which could make it difficult to push wheelchairs up.
