Grimsthorpe Vintage Speed Trials 2026

Set in the stunning grounds of Grimsthorpe Castle, the Speed Trials are a non-competitve run of pre-war cars and motorcycles, who take it in turn to be driven down the long front drivway of the castle. This event has been likened to a min-Goodwood, and some people say it is one of the best vintage motor sports events on the calendar!

Come along, bring a picnic or enjoy the various food and drinks outlets. Dress in 1930s attire (optional) and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of these amazing machines.

We pride ourdelves on creating an ambience of stepping back in time, with our marshalls in dustcoats and flat caps, our vintage marquees and of course the starts of the show the cars and motorcycles were all built pre 1939.
