We’ll kick things off with three pre-made granny squares, lovingly prepared just for you. You’ll get to mix and match from a colorful buffet of patterns and hues to create a style that’s totally you. Then, with the help of Sarah and Tammy, you’ll learn how to stitch those squares together into a fabulous little bag.

Once your bag base is looking cute, we’ll dive into the basics of crochet:

• How to make a slip knot (no sailing experience required!)
• How to hold your hook like a pro
• Single crochet & double crochet magic
• And how to “finish off” like the fiber artist you’re about to become

You’ll use those new skills to crochet your own bag handle, which we’ll then attach—along with a sweet little beaded closure—to complete your creation. By the end of class, you’ll be walking out the door with a finished bag in hand, ready to show off your handmade style.
