A year! We can’t believe it’s nearly been a whole year since we jumped on this rollercoaster. None of this would’ve been possible without the continued support of this incredible community — the folks of Todmorden who’ve backed us from day one and helped us reach this milestone. As a thank-you to everyone, we’re throwing a massive free party with some incredible acts!

Afriquoi are a name that needs no introduction these days. They’ve played just about every festival stage in the country, bringing their energetic blend of Congolese guitar and Gambian kora fused with UK dance music. Their DJ sets draw from the same wide mix of styles — afrobeat, afro-house, disco, soul, techno, garage, and global rhythmic traditions — guaranteed to bring the dancefloor to life.

Tokomololo was the very first live act we hosted here, so it only makes sense to have him back for our birthday bash. He’s a Welsh electronic musician who blends sparse beats, Welsh-language vocals, and field recordings into subtle, atmospheric tracks. His music leans toward minimal, textural electronica with a grounded, natural feel. He absolutely tore the roof off last time, and we expect nothing less this round.

The queen bee of Todmorden and Ginger Tigress/Golden Lioness herself, Giggystickyrice, will be playing a rare and elusive DJ of rare and wonderful treats. Records she loves and has collected over her decades throwing legendary parties.

And finally — not only is it our birthday, it’s also the birthday of Fat Finger’s main man, Buddha! He’ll be playing a special warm-up set to get you all in the mood.
