Ghost Hunt at Manor Farm Rainhill, Saturday 7th March 2026
If you love haunted pubs and want a genuine paranormal experience, this ghost hunt at Manor Farm in Rainhill is for you. This historic 17th‑century inn near Prescot has a long reputation for eerie footsteps, shadows and the feeling that someone is still watching when the doors are closed for the night.
By day, Manor Farm is a warm, traditional pub and restaurant. After hours, the atmosphere changes completely, making it an ideal setting for a serious investigation rather than a staged scare attraction.
This event is aimed at both first‑time ghost hunters and experienced investigators who want to explore a real location with genuine history and reports of activity.
From 8:15 PM you will arrive at Manor Farm, check in with the team and have a short welcome and safety briefing before the investigation starts at 9:00 PM. The team will explain the plan for the night, basic dos and don’ts, and how the equipment will be used.
Throughout the night you will:
There may be opportunities for short lone vigils or very small‑group sessions for guests who feel confident enough to spend time in particularly active areas. The team will always be close by to keep things safe and supported.
To keep this a focused investigation:
Parking is available nearby, and you will be directed to the correct entrance for the ghost hunt when you arrive. Please aim to be on time so the group can begin the investigation together at 9:00 PM.
Manor Farm’s age, layout and long history give it exactly the kind of atmosphere ghost hunters look for in a pub location. Centuries of locals, travellers and staff have passed through its rooms, and many believe some of them may still linger. Reports over the years include unexplained footsteps, movement in empty spaces and a strong sense of being watched when no one else appears to be there.
This event gives you the chance to experience that atmosphere for yourself in a controlled, respectful way, alongside an experienced team and like‑minded guests.
