This session focuses on getting your organisation ready before writing bids, ensuring you have key building blocks (governance, strategy, impact, and financial management) in place to maximise your chances of funding.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand the governance responsibilities of trustees or committee members in relation to funding.
• Understand how your charity’s purpose and priorities align with funding opportunities.
• Be able to say who will benefit and how.
• Ensure budgets, controls, and key policies are in place.
• Identify gaps in readiness and create a short improvement plan.
