Gavin Bryars: Homecoming concert & conversation

Avant garde musician and composer, Gavin Bryars, will begin this homecoming event with a short conversation about his life. This will be followed by him playing, with his ensemble, music of his own composition - including his famous piece, 'Jesus blood never failed me yet'. Gavin has worked with Bryan Eno, Julian Lloyd Webber and John Cage amongst others - not bad for a lad from Goole! This will be a concert not to be missed.

Car parking will be freely available (opposite the church). Refreshments will be available.
