GameDev Together is a quiet, focused co-working session for people working on or learning about game creation. It is not a class, talk, or workshop. There is no instructor, lesson plan, or formal teaching. The purpose is simple: set aside dedicated time to work on your own game, alongside others doing the same.
You can bring an existing project or start something new. Participants work on all aspects of game creation, including programming, art, design, writing, music and sound, level building, prototyping, playtesting, production, marketing, or learning new tools. Everyone works independently, but the shared space provides gentle accountability and motivation.
The atmosphere is intentionally calm and low-pressure. Most of the session is spent working quietly in a library space. Short introductions at the start help everyone settle in, and optional sharing at the end allows for reflection, questions, or listening without pressure to speak.
This session is designed for consistency and sustainability, especially for solo developers, hobbyists, and learners who want to keep making progress without burnout.
