Gala and Art Exclusive Exhibition

This year, Art Can Heal proudly celebrates a season of transformation fueled by the power of art, community, and resilience. Through the unwavering support of our partners, educators, students, and community members, we’ve expanded our mission in profound and meaningful ways.

From honoring student excellence at the Davis Family School, where young leaders like Nicholas Sun, Denny Cruz-Garcia, and Maylinne Martinez-Ortiz were recognized for their creativity, resilience, and kindness, to empowering women through Wonder Women Wednesday and our partnership with We Are Brains and Beauty, every initiative has been rooted in healing, connection, and growth.

Our classrooms were reimagined through the “A” in STEAM Program, allowing students to explore themes of family, love, and belonging through therapeutic art that breaks stereotypes and celebrates diversity. We also stood by educators by launching free art-based lesson plans designed to integrate emotional intelligence and trauma-informed support, helping teachers and after-school leaders reach students on the spectrum and those navigating mental health challenges.

And as our impact grew offline, so did our reach online with over 10.1K followers engaged in free services, events, and healing resources shared through social media. Looking ahead to 2026, we are committed to expanding even further, continuing to create free, accessible mental health and trauma-informed art content for communities everywhere.

The Art Can Heal Annual Gala stands as both a celebration of these milestones and a promise of what’s to come. An evening dedicated to creativity, healing, and the collective power of community.
