The Willow School’s Certificate of Artistry in Creative Writing students present original poetry and prose inspired by E.M. Tran’s Daughters of the New Year—this year’s One Book One New Orleans selection. They’ll share brand-new work sparked by the novel’s characters, themes, and form. Expect bold voices, fresh perspectives, and performances as dynamic and dramatic as New Orleans itself.

The event will be emceed by Michelle (M.A.) Nicholson, a creative writing instructor at Willow.

Free and open to the public; donations gratefully accepted. Donations support One Book One New Orleans' year-round work.

The Andre Cailloux Center for Performing Arts and Cultural Justice is accessible to community members who require mobility-related ADA accommodations. Parking near the venue is free, though somewhat limited. The nearest RTA stop is at N. Broad and Columbus.
