Tabitha Wady spent years pretending to be other people for a living — on stage, television, film (including the cult classic Kevin & Perry Go Large), radio, and voiceovers. Eventually, she decided it was time to stop waiting for scripts and start writing her own adventure.

Property began as a very unglamorous solution to a very real problem back in 1996: paying the bills. Fast forward to today and Tabs has built a multi-million-pound portfolio across student HMOs, serviced accommodation, single lets, and crisis housing. Alongside her husband Nick, she’s converted a former care home into a residential property and holiday lets, enjoys a good title split (because who doesn’t ?), and bought their first block of apartments in 2025.

With the support of the Progressive Property community, Tabs has continued to grow a diverse portfolio with cash investors and joint venture partners, picked up the No Money Down – Best Deal Award 2024, is host of ‘What the Hut’ podcast and proved that confidence grows much faster once you start taking action, preferably before you’ve talked yourself out of it.

Big-hearted, creative, and unapologetically community-minded, Tabs believes property isn’t about ego, spreadsheets, or pretending you understand Excel formulas, it’s about people. Her true passion is crisis housing: using bricks and mortar to give people safety, dignity, and a way back.
