Explore connections between Palestine, global militarism, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard in this Sunday Platform conversation on ethics and acco

This event explores how global militarism and colonial systems connect with local economies and everyday life right here in Brooklyn. Join us for a Sunday Platform conversation examining the often-hidden material links between U.S. military operations abroad and industrial and technological infrastructure at home. Speakers from Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard will outline how military-linked firms in the Brooklyn Navy Yard contribute to systems of violence, including weapons production and surveillance technologies that serve both foreign and domestic repression. By tracing these connections, we grapple with accountability, complicity, and ethical clarity in a moment of profound global injustice. This session invites thoughtful dialogue about how struggles against militarism abroad are tied to struggles for justice at home.
