
Free Women's Group Hike - Swinsty and Little Almscliffe
Our first free hike of the year takes us on a route that has a little bit of everything. We'll see ancient monuments, a crumbling castle, big lakes and even bigger views.
This route is perfect for those looking to stretch their legs, meet new friends, or simply soak up some fresh air and nature.

Facilities: No toilets or cafes are on the route. The nearest toilets are at Swinsty Moor Car Park.

Please come prepared for a day out in beautiful British weather! Trails can be rough and wet, so wear comfortable walking boots or sturdy trainers. Make sure you pack waterproofs, spare layers, and plenty of water and snacks to keep you going.
There is no set pace - we will walk according to the group and ensure no-one feels left behind. All our routes include plenty of opportunities to stop and pause to rest, eat and change layers.
