Lillian Noble, Joseph Hancock & Amy Bach
Lillian Noble – Soprano
English soprano Lillian Noble is currently studying for an MA at The Royal Academy of Music with Susan Waters and Chad Vindin. Recent engagements include the soprano solo in Beethoven’s Mass in C and Katisha in The Mikado with Grosvenor Light Opera Company. Other operatic performances include La Bohème (chorus and Le Mamme) with Orchestre National de Lille and the English premiere of Tchaikovsky’s The Oprichnik with Chelsea Opera Group. She is part of the chorus for the Royal Academy Opera’s upcoming production of Carmen in November 2025. Lillian enjoys performing song repertoire, particularly Schubert’s lieder, and is looking forward to today’s recital. She would like to thank those who support her.
Joseph Hancock – Tenor
Joseph, a prize-winning postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music, studies with Mark Wildman and Janet Haney. A graduate of St John’s College, Cambridge where he sang in the College Choir, in recent years he has been a member of the Sir Arthur Bliss Lieder Scheme at Pembroke College, and a Scholar with Voces8, with whom he continues to work in their Education Team. Recent performances include Male Chorus (The Rape of Lucretia) the Evangelist in Bach’s ‘St John Passion’ and ‘Christmas Oratorio’, Handel’s ‘Messiah’, and Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) and Lysander (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) for Opera Scenes at the Royal Academy of Music. He also maintains a busy schedule of choral work, including in the professional quartet at Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square.
Amy Bach – Piano
Amy Bach is a dynamic collaborative pianist, captivating audiences with expressive artistry and bold interpretations. Her repertoire spans from Boulanger and Prokofiev to Copland, Schubert, and Amy Beach. As a sought-after collaborator, she’s performed alongside a wide range of instrumentalists and vocalists bringing depth and vibrancy to every performance. Her music has resonated across England and Europe and throughout the United States.
