Join us for Food Science STEM Night on February 26 from 5:30–7:30 PM at the New York Hall of Science. (Ages 14-24)
This interactive evening will explore the science behind the foods we eat every day. Through hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and conversations with professionals, attendees will learn how chemistry, biology, engineering, and technology shape everything from flavor and nutrition to food production and sustainability.
Designed for teens and young adults, Food Science STEM Night also highlights real-world STEM pathways and careers connected to food science, health, and innovation. Whether you’re curious about how food is made, how taste works, or how science can improve our food systems, there’s something for everyone.
Come explore, ask questions, and discover how food and science come together in exciting ways.
