Instructor: Jen Seely
Jen Seely took her first yoga class 18 years ago with the intention to add more stretching and strengthening to her regular exercise routine. She found herself feeling more grounded and peaceful after each practice in a deeper way than she expected. The subtle, transformative power of yoga is what kept her coming back to it over the years.
Yoga slowly became a way of living for Jen as she learned to practice with intention, cultivate present-moment awareness, and deeply feel the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. Her practice has contributed to significant healing and personal growth during challenging times. In Spring 2024, she completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Pod in Longmont, CO, with the primary goal of deepening her personal practice. However, as she learned more and deepened her practice, she realized she had a passion to share the meaningful gift of yoga with others, too.
Soon after completing her Yoga Teacher Training, she made the decision to take a step back from her 20-year career as an architect to focus on developing her yoga teaching career. Her yoga teacher training includes Vinyasa, Restorative, Trauma-Informed and Pranayama. She is grateful to have found a balance between teaching yoga and practicing architecture, which she now does both part time.
Jen aims to provide mindful, supportive classes while holding a welcoming and light-hearted space for students of all abilities and backgrounds. She is excited and honored to guide others in their yoga practice and pass on what she has learned through her own practice.
