Join us for a free Hip Hop experience for ages 7+ at Liverpool Central Library, taking place as part of Must-See Month, a city-wide celebration of culture and creativity across Liverpool.

This session is designed for older children who want to try something fun and different. We’ll be introducing break dancing moves, cool tricks and beginner circus skills in a friendly, supportive way — perfect for first-timers as well as confident movers.

It’s not about being the best dancer. It’s about trying something new, building confidence and having fun.

Alongside the movement session, there will also be a graffiti-style art table, where children and parents/carers can:

  • learn simple graffiti lettering
  • use book titles and fonts from around the library as inspiration
  • design and write their own name using pens, card, stencils and graffiti books

(No spray paint — just hands-on creativity.)

The session is run by Powered by Hip Hop, a local Merseyside organisation with nearly 20 years’ experience working with children and young people, in partnership with Liverpool Central Library.

Places are limited so everyone gets a great experience.
