The elite “chordless” trio of Rich Wheeler (tenor sax), Bill McKemy (double bass), and Brandon Draper (drums) comes together to celebrate the music and lasting impact of Joe Henderson’s classic Blue Note release, "State of the Tenor: Live at the Village Vanguard'. This grouping of instruments allows for expansive and fresh trio interaction that is in turns introspective, intense and unpredictable.
Wheeler, McKemy and Draper are among the region’s most accomplished players, each enjoying numerous performances with Grammy winners and at numerous festivals in the US and abroad.
