Forward Into Light — Album Launch Celebration

The evening brings together live performance, immersive listening, and an exclusive wine tasting from Napa Valley boutique winery MIRO Cellars in celebration of Forward Into Light. Members of Metropolis Ensemble will perform the original string quartet version of Drink the Wild Ayre, written for the Emerson String Quartet and newly reimagined on this album for string orchestra and solo harp.

Sarah Kirkland Snider, Silas Brown, and Andrew Cyr will share insights into the music and the artistic journey behind the album.

The ensemble is led by GRAMMY-winning violinist Henry Wang, who served as concertmaster on the album recording. He is joined by longtime Metropolis collaborators who also perform together as members of the internationally celebrated Calidore Quartet.
