Floral Pop: Gouache Painting for Beginners

Join Jude, a freelance illustrator and experienced art educator (with an MA in Illustration!), for a relaxed and inspiring workshop as we step into the wonderful world of painting flowers. 

Moving away from traditional, stiff botanical illustrations, this current trend focuses on vibrant, oversized flowers with "electric" accents.

Gouache techniques are easily transferable to watercolour, but the colour is ramped up a notch!

We will create bright, fauvist paintings and explore expressive techniques like wet-on-wet painting.

BEGINNERS / ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED

This workshop is a perfect "You + Me" experience! Young adults aged 12 and above are welcome to join when accompanied by a paying adult.

Within a two-week period, under no circumstances can we transfer you onto another event. We have incurred material costs & committed numbers to the tutor.
