The Woodmans are a family of well-known artists bonded in their belief of art-making as the highest form of expression. But for their daughter Francesca — one of the late 20th century's most recognized and influential photographers — fame came only after a tragedy that would forever scar the family. With unrestricted access to all of Francesca's photographs, private diaries and experimental videos, The Woodmans traces the story of a family broken and then healed by their art.
This event has a limited capacity and you must book in order to attend. Both free or donation tickets are available. It is thanks to the generosity of our pay-what-you-can audiences and Patreon members that we are able to programme public events on this basis. Please consider purchasing a donation ticket if you able to do so.
The cinema room is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. The cinema and various other areas including the toilets are only accessible through a series of steps ranging between 5-10 steps. There is plenty of breakout space available in-venue, but this may be loud and busy with other members of the public.
