Film at The Africa Center presents "Kouté Vwa"

Join us on Thursday, November 13th  at 7:00PM for our Film at The Africa Center screening of Kouté Vwa, presented in partnership with African Film Festival, Inc.

The Film: 

Kouté Vwa (dir. Maxime Jean-Baptiste) -  Melrick, a 13-year-old boy, spends his summer vacation in Cayenne with his grandmother Nicole. His desire to learn to play the drum brings back the spectre of Lucas, Nicole’s son, also a drummer, who died in tragic conditions 11 years earlier.
