After all the Christmas cheer we were able to spread last year, we are excited to host our FIFTH Annual Dream Big Holiday Benefit! 🤍

Please join us Friday, December 5th, 2025 from 7:00 pm-11:00 pm at the Swan Lake Caterers in Manorville to celebrate and support this year’s honoree… The John Theissen Children's Foundation!

For over three decades, The John Theissen Children’s Foundation (JTCF) has been dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and comfort to sick and underprivileged children across Long Island. Founded by John Theissen in 1992 after his own life-changing experience as a 17-year-old hospitalized for a brain tumor, JTCF was inspired by a young girl named Tasha, whose selflessness and positive spirit left an indelible mark on John’s life.

What began as a small holiday toy drive has now grown into a year-round 501(c)(3) organization that has collected and donated over one million new toys to children in more than 180 hospitals and child-care facilities. Beyond its holiday programs, JTCF provides ongoing support for children and families in need — offering toys, gifts, and other forms of assistance to ensure no child feels forgotten.

By choosing The John Theissen Children’s Foundation as our 5th Annual Dream Big Benefit honoree, we aim to amplify their mission of helping children in any capacity possible. With the support raised from this year’s benefit, we can help JTCF continue to expand its reach, providing joy and relief to even more children and families who need it most.

As John himself has shown through his life’s work, one act of kindness can ignite a movement. Together, we can make an extraordinary difference for sick and underprivileged children across Long Island.

Keith Caputo: The Heartbeat of Helping Makes U Happy

For those who graced the Dream Big Holiday Benefit the past 4 years the name Keith Caputo surely rings a bell. If you're new to our Dream Big family, allow us to introduce a local hero: Keith Caputo. Together with his mother, Cassy, Keith founded the non-profit, Helping Makes U Happy. His daily acts of kindness have become legendary in our community.

Our inaugural Dream Big Benefit saw us raise a heartwarming $10,000 for Keith and Helping Makes U Happy. Last year, we were privileged to donate hundreds of gifts to support his cause. This year, we're thrilled to share that Keith, embodying the spirit of Santa Claus, will join us once more! 🎅

We recently received a touching letter from our very own Santa, Keith Caputo, which we're eager to share:

”Dear Dream Big Guests and Supporters,

I am so delighted and oh so excited,

to visit you all at this amazing gala ball!

Could I ask you a favor, for you to be so kind,

by helping me keep our local families in mind.

I will bring my Santa sack with the hopes and ‘believe’,

that we will fill it for all our families in need!
