
This evening course is designed for individuals interested in developing life drawing skills for personal, professional, or career transition purposes. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some prior experience, the course will help build your confidence, strengthen your practical abilities, and improve your communication skills within a creative environment.
You will be introduced to a range of fundamental life drawing techniques, including observation, proportion, gesture, contour, shading, tone, and composition. These versatile skills can be developed for a variety of purposes, whether you wish to build a personal portfolio, explore creative practice, or progress to further study in the arts.
This course provides an excellent foundation for those looking to develop professional skills and explore opportunities within art and design or related creative industries.
No previous experience is necessary.
· Drawing from observation (working directly from the life model)

Upon successful completion, and with a positive lecturer reference, you may be eligible to progress to our full-time Intermediate Certificate Art Design Portfolio (level 5), our Advanced Certificate Art Design Portfolio or our HNC Art and Design programme.
Over the 12 weeks, you will learn through hands-on demonstrations and practical studio work. The course begins with foundational techniques and gradually progresses to more advanced processes, allowing you to develop at a steady and supportive pace.
