Please join us for a concert of music to commemorate Remembrance and the end of World War 2, along with the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and Dunkirk.
Led by Eynsford Concert Band with choral support from West Malling Community Choir and the Brompton & Invicta Military Wives Choir and supported by the standard bearers of the Royal British Legion, representatives from cadets and veterans of the armed services, this promises to be poignant concert, set in the fabulous setting of Rochester Cathedral, the second oldest cathedral in England.
We are delighted to confirm that the festival will also be supported by the Pipes of 1st Battalion of the Royal Gurkha Rifles. Formally established in 1948, 1 RGR is renowned for their stirring performances at prestigious events such as the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, showcasing the precision and pageantry of military music. Their reach extends far beyond the United Kingdom, supporting ceremonial duties and cultural engagements around the globe. We are thrilled that they will be joining us in this spectacular venue.
Veterans are welcome to wear medals take part if you wish to do so.
