1. Understand why fathers and male carers matter in child and family development.
2. Know who the toolkit is for and how it supports father-inclusive practice in Family Hubs.
3. Explore the five key elements of the Father-Inclusive Practice model.
4. Reflect on how staff view, interact and communicate with fathers and male carers.
5. Identify barriers and practical measures to make practice more inclusive.
6. Recognise the positive impact of engaging fathers on children’s development, relationships and wellbeing.
7. Measure their own knowledge and confidence change throughout the session.
