Fareeda’s cooking is rooted in her Bengali heritage and shaped by her life as an aid worker, where food became a way to connect, comfort, and build community. Working across regions including the Middle East, South Asia, and beyond, she learned how meals are created with care, shared with generosity, and offered as acts of dignity and welcome. These experiences continue to guide the way she cooks today.
This one-off menu brings together bold, aromatic, and layered flavours inspired by the Silk Roads and seas, shaped by her recent journey through the MasterChef UK kitchen, and her belief in food as a way to honour memory, generosity, and solidarity. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, guests can also expect subtle nods to Sudanese flavours, in solidarity with the people of Sudan.
