Family Yoga with children aged 3-8 is not as much about the physical poses as it is about connecting with your child and giving full attention to each other.
It’s quality time where classic roles can be left at the door and parents and children can connect deeply, build trust and get to know each other through sharing, playful activities and mindful engagement.
This is why the workshop is 75 minutes, to allow a slow mindful pace and plenty of time for connecting activities and partner work.
The generous time allocation allows a welcoming environment where there is no rush to ‘get going‘ both at arrival and at the end… for the benefits of all participants!
Elements you might find in a typical class or workshop are storytelling through yoga, acrobatics, simple meditations, games, singing and dancing, laughter, mutual massage, role reversal practices and… much more.
