If you didn't know already, the much anticipated exhibition - TRAINSPOTTERS #T30 - is having a launch party on 20th February 2026, 6pm - 9pm at Atom Gallery,127 Green Lanes, London N16 9DA.
London, 21 February 2026 to 14 March 2026, Atom Gallery
presents TRAINSPOTTERS, curated by Grow Up aka Blam
the original designer/co-creator with Lorenzo Agius, the
photographer behind the iconic Trainspotting (1996) film poster.
Stanley Donwood, Phill Jupitus, Magda Archer, Modern Toss,
Adam and Joe, Florist, Ben Frost, Haus of Lucy, Hayden Kays,
Mul, Trackie McLeod, Chris Ashworth and many other artists
who have created new works for this exhibition.
TRAINSPOTTERS isn’t a 90s nostalgia trip; it’s aimed squarely
at what comes next. Original film poster photographer Lorenzo
Agius was keen to toast the film’s 30th birthday, but curator
Blam – whose mantra is “don’t look behind you, you’re not going
that way” – would only bite if the show faced forward.
“We keep getting approached to drop the original work into 90s
retrospectives,” says Blam. “But it felt far more interesting to
look forward completely and do something new and different
with the theme for this show.”
The result: 30+ artists creating entirely new work, inspired by
the gritty, countercultural pulse that gave Trainspotting its cult
following.
