
Through a series of panels, the exhibition traces Art Deco's influence across nine themes, from housing and municipal buildings to transport, entertainment, retail spaces and the magnificent ocean liners of the era. The display accompanies a major new award-winning book by Bruce Peter (Professor of Design History, Glasgow School of Art), representing nearly four decades of passionate research into this transformative period which reshaped Scotland's visual landscape.

The exhibition is situated on the ground floor of the library. The building has level access and automatic doors.
