An Exhibiting My Mind work Exhibition at Hale End Library

From 3rd to 17th February 2026

Over the space of 8 weeks a group of young men from Waltham Forest created poetry pieces in honour of black history month. They performed them at a live showcase in the Leytonstone Library.

Working alogside creative writer, poet and mental health practitioner Amen Noir, they discussed topics such as idenities, stereotypes, mental health and being a black male in London. Here is what they created.
