Evening of Music & Stories with Bishop Andrew - January 15th 2026

The Forest & Avon Team Ministry are pleased to announce an evening of songs, stories and poems with Dr Andrew Rumsey, The Bishop of Ramsbury, at St Laurence Church, Downton. The Bishop will bring his rich talents as both a musician and also an author, with recent examples of his works, from his album; Collodion , and his book; English Grounds: A Pastoral Journal.

Tickets at £12 are available online and includes a welcome drink . There's interval refreshments avalaible at a pop-up bar. Profits from the evening will be donated to the Forest & Avon Team's local churches, and the interval bar profits will go to our chosen charity; Julia's House, a children's hospice located in Corfe Mullen, Dorset, England and Devizes, Wiltshire.
