The SSC is honoured to welcome Scotia McCombie to give a talk on her photography career and display some of her work.

Coming late to photography in an already saturated market, Scotia knew her work had to stand out to succeed. Initially armed with a second hand Canon, she set out across Scotland on a self taught adventure bringing studio style photoshoots to the equestrian sector. Now internationally published, her multi award winning work has become synonymous with fine art portraits - capturing the emotive depth & intuitive connection she feels for her equine models with a distinctive, creative edge. With museum grade limited edition prints as her backdrop Scotia brings her journey into focus with a warm, gregarious storytelling approach.
