We'd love for local artists and companies to join us for our free sustainability workshops this Autumn. This session in Poole, facilitated by Sian Alexander, aims to support organisations and freelancers as the cultural sector grapples with the effects of the climate crisis, discussing ways we can reduce carbon emissions as a sector.
This event, on 13th November (2-5pm) will feature contributions from Rachael Duthie from SAGE Exeter, an artist-led sustainable network, Christine Eyre from BCP Council (specialising in low carbon work), and Antosh Wojcik, local poet and sound designer. We'll be promoting peer-learning, networking and connecting different creatives from across the region, discovering ways we can combine to support both our work and our audiences/visitors.
We also hope the afternoon will be a lot of fun. The freelancer ballot, offering 5 freelancers a £40 fee to attend, is still open.
