Employment Law Taster for busy business owners

Understanding and keeping up with the legal compliance aspects of employment can feel too much for most business owners.

At HR by Tara, our aim is to make it easier for business owners to be good employers. Twice a year we run an Employment Law Essentials course, designed to help business owners understand your key responsibilities as an employer and protect yourself and your business from employment-related legal risks.

This free event provides a basic introduction to employment law and gives you a taste of what to expect if you attend the full course (next one will be in January).

We'll briefly cover the legal rules to be aware of when:

• offering employment
• dealing with requests from employees
• managing issues at work
• ending employment

Then there'll be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
