Emerging Voices: social mobility and musical theatre

Wednesday 21st January 6:30-7:30pm

Durham Street Auditorium, RSA House

Join the RSA for a joyful, honest and music-filled evening exploring social mobility in the arts, with some of London’s best musical theatre talent.

This lively panel discussion will open and close with music, weaving performance and conversation as our speakers share personal journeys, hard truths, and practical ideas for making the industry more accessible.

Whether you’re an aspiring performer, an established creative, or someone shaping arts policy, this is a conversation about who gets to sing, who gets heard, and how we widen the stage.

Speakers:

• Natalie Durkin, Creative Freelancer

• Ayesha Patel, Performer

• Esme North, Performer and Musician

Chair:

• Donal MacAuley, Host, Singer and Presenter

Musical accompaniment:

• Dave Cribb, Creative Director of The Room Where It Happens
