As spring washes away winter and the world is reborn in the new light, so will we look at art in a new way. This session will act as an intro to the illustrator's way of seeing. Learn a striking new way to express the complexity within you. Let your imagination and intuition guide you through the graphic philosophy of image making. The simplicity of a blank space can tell us so much about the interaction between the object and the life around it, bringing the innermost feelings out. Like puzzle pieces that reveal more together.
Inspired by illustrators such as Malika Favre and Noma Bar, we will peel back the complex layers of the space we are in and examine the shapes they make against each other. Join us for a fun evening of intricate life drawing through simplicity. You don’t need any previous art or life drawing experience; all you need is to relax and trust yourself!
Early Masterworks and Pink Herring Studio offer a challenging but supportive space to find your creative flow. Firepit Gallery is the perfect space to have a relaxing time chatting, sipping and sketching!

About the Guest Host:
This event will be co-hosted by Pink Herring Studio, who share Early Masterworks’ passion for art, exploration and community. Pink Herring was started by Nico and Leo, who hope to bring a little extra sparkle and joy into the world! If you enjoy a slightly unusual or unique approach to art and aesthetic, we would love to share our own passion for the weird and the discarded. Our art is influenced by the journey we have been on, all of us from East-European countries, we explore our culture and translate our fables to a new audience in England. Our art often explores queer narratives, complicated relationships with body and gender, and the struggle to exist as yourself.
