Storyboard Live Drawing: Comics, Movies, Manga & More
As January fades out, many of us are coming down from the emotional “high season” of love, Valentine’s energy, messy situationships, quiet healing, or just trying to keep it together while life keeps moving. This session is a soft landing and a creative reset: we’ll take whatever your winter has been and turn it into visual storytelling.
Join EarlyMasterworks at Firepit Gallery, London for an untutored themed live sketching gathering where your stories and emotions become your reference. Expect drawings that feel like comic panels and film stills….. dramatic angles, cinematic framing, expressive silhouettes, and manga-style hyper perspective. Whether your season has been romantic, reflective, chaotic, funny, or transformative, bring it to the page.
Drawing is storytelling made visible. Even if words feel clumsy, sketching can say what you want to express…..through posture, tension, space, and gesture. This session is designed to help you explore narrative energy in your work while staying relaxed, social, and playful.
What to expect:
● Part 1: Warm-up sketches + “mood frames” (quick prompts inspired by winter stories: longing, glow-up, heartbreak, peace, plot twist).
● Part 2: Storyboard-style drawing (dynamic compositions, perspective, cinematic shots, and graphic-novel colour/mood thinking).
● A friendly space for beginners to feel comfortable — and for regular artists to push composition, perspective, and narrative impact.
