> Price: menu mistakes, how to avoid them and how to increase your menu appeal and perceived value for money.

About the Speaker
Stephen Logue is a business economist and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing .
He started his career in marketing with brands like Ski and McVities, running well known household brands and taking responsibility for new product development where he launched 15 new products, some of which won awards.
He was appointed marketing director of Grand Met’s 600 restaurants where he was fortunate enough to win the first Caterer & Hotelkeeper award for the top group marketing campaign.
His market research-led consultancy, Business Blueprints, based in Brighton from 1989 to 2022, advised major organisations in the hospitality industry like JD Wetherspoons, Greene King and Allied Bakeries among others.
In his own right, he owned and operated 15 catering concepts ranging from Sandwich/coffee bars to Greek themed restaurants.
He latterly owned the Old Bank in Kemptown from 2010, rated No. 1 for steaks & ribs, until he sold it last year to concentrate on his new coaching enterprise, Hospitality Blueprints.
He says; “ I am passionate about inspiring and empowering others to create memorable dining experiences for their customers so that they can make more money, save time and have less stress"

What is your cancellation policy?
The majority of our events are free, but places are often limited - especially for in-person events, therefore please make sure you cancel your place, if you are unable to attend. You can cancel through your Eventbrite booking or emailing bipc@brighton-hove.co.uk.
Can I attend if I'm not a member of the library?
Absolutely! Any Sussex based business/ person with a business idea is welcome. Though we always recommend joining the library as it's free and will make accessing our databases, books and publications much easier.
